Жан Фавье
Jean Favier (born 1932) is a French historian, who specializes in Medieval history. From 1975 to 1994, he has been director of the French National Archives. From 1994 to 1997, he has been president of the Bibliothèque nationale de France.
He is member of the Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres since 1985.
